Try these instead of the traditional recipe, for a healthful, vegetarian alternative. Vegetarian Chopped Liver IIngredients:1 large can peas Directions:Heat the peas, but do not boil. Drain and cool. Saute onions in oil until soft. Dissolve bouillon cube in a small amount of boiling water until it is soft enough to crush (about 2 minutes). Mix crushed cube with onions and set aside. Place eggs, chopped pecans, peas, margarine, and bread in food processor. Blend 2-3 minutes. Place ingredients in bowl and mix with onions. Refrigerate for 24 hours before serving. Tastes even better second or third day, and will keep for a week. Have faith! Vegetarian Chopped Liver IIIngredients:1 lb. green beans Directions:Combine all ingredients in food processor. Pulse on and off until the mixture is soft and spreadable. |
