B'nai Emet -> About our Synagogue B’nai Emet Synagogue is a Conservative Jewish congregation, affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. B’nai Emet came into being in 1972, created by the merger of three congregations – B’nai Abraham, Mikro Kodesh, and Tifereth B’nai Jacob. The synagogue is located at 3115 Ottawa Avenue, St. Louis Park MN, northwest of the junction of Highway 25 (old Highway 7) and Highway 100. Rabbi Charni Flame Selch is the spiritual leader of B’nai Emet Synagogue (Click here for eMail to Rabbi Selch). The congregation is also served by a cantorial soloist, education director, executive director, office personnel, chief custodian, and kitchen supervisor. The building that preceded B’nai Emet’s building was originally constructed in 1959 for B’nai Abraham Synagogue. The current building was dedicated in 1974. It is home to the Fingerhut Sanctuary, Baratz Social Hall, Fox Family Chapel, Goldberg Lounge, Hellman Library, Burton Education Wing, and Diana Chazin Levitt Playground. |
