Time to Meet Teacher

All staff members are experienced early childhood educators.  All participate in a continuous program of in-service education for professional advancement, in order to remain current with the ever-changing needs of today’s families.

We gear our programming to the individual needs of each child.  All parents are invited to our Fall Orientation Evening (information available through Early Childhood office).

During the school year, if you have any individual questions regarding the school or your child, please contact your child’s teacher or the Early Childhood Education Director.  It might be difficult to talk to your child’s teacher during school hours.  If you hand the teacher a note, she will be happy to set up a time to talk.

Each parent is entitled to an intake interview that usually is scheduled during the week before school starts.  This interview enables us to understand each child better, and opens up two-way communication between the parents and staff.

Parents of all preschool children are invited to attend two conferences during the school year.  Here we evaluate your child’s experiences and development as well as discuss any objectives we can work on together to help your child have a great year.  During the conference, your child’s intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development will be discussed.

A parent may request a conference at any time by either contacting the Early Childhood Education Director or your child’s teacher.
