B'nai Emet -> Messages -> From the President -> 2002Passover MessageMarch, 2002With Passover soon approaching, it’s a reminder that we are entering the “last” part of the synagogue year. Over the past year, our leadership has tried to respond to what our congregants want. In addition to the usual tried and true activities, we want to offer more. Our series of late Friday night services are an example of this. A small group of people came forward and asked for it. Largely, through the efforts of a small hardworking committee, the first of these took place on February 22, with one service to take place each month through May. We hope many of you will attend and participate. In the coming months, we hope to be able to become even more responsive to what our congregants want. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to approach anyone of our executive committee, general board, or Rabbi Abramson. We are all here to serve you. At this time, on behalf of my family and the lay leadership of our synagogue, I want to wish all of you a joyous Passover holiday season.
